The Overview
My creative baptism in Berlin: a trilogy of high-intensity music videos for an established tango quartet. The brief called for a raw, atmospheric visual identity that could capture the dramatic weight, emotional tension, and intimate acoustic nature of modern tango.

The Approach & Craft
To maintain absolute artistic cohesion and adapt to an agile setup, I operated as a full-spectrum creative unit—handling the project end-to-end across vision, execution, and post-production:

Creative & Art Direction: Developed a moody, shadow-driven visual system tailored to the dramatic codes of tango, utilizing low-key lighting setups, high-contrast framing, and rich textures.

Cinematography & Lighting (DP/Gaffer): Orchestrated camera movement and precise atmospheric lighting on location to accentuate the physical tension between the musicians and their instruments.

Field Sound Engineering: Captured pristine live acoustic performances on-site, balancing instrument dynamics to preserve the raw, emotional crackle of the music.

Editorial & Color Grading: Directed the edit rhythm to match the syncopated tempo of the quartet, applying a custom color grade to evoke a timeless, nocturnal Berlin aesthetic.

The Result
Three distinct yet visually connected music videos that seamlessly merge sonic fidelity with cinematic intimacy—proving that a strong creative vision and resourcefulness can yield high-impact results with an agile setup.
